Where we came from
The business was created in 2003 as a result of demerger from corporate law firm Hammonds which was subsequently acquired by insolvency lawyer Philip Holden in 2009.
Where we're heading
As the market consolidates, drydensfairfax finds itself as the only independent and specialist debt litigation law firm that can handle significant volume. This puts us in a unique position offering 100% focus and 100% commitment to the credit sector.
Unrivalled service
Our commitment to the recoveries market has led us to being recognised as the number one top tier firm in the independent legal directory The Legal 500.
The fair treatment of customers is at the heart of our business
As a highly regulated law firm solely focused on the recovery of debt, our clients can depend on us to deliver commercial results whilst providing a highly compliant service.
Conduct Risk goes right to the heart of our business and is a central part of our culture. For us, conduct risk is about much more than meeting regulatory requirements; our entire culture is based upon fairness, treating others how you would wish to be treated yourself and doing the right thing – so Conduct Risk and ‘good outcomes’ from a customer perspective are an instinctive part of our behaviour. That’s why we pride ourselves on being a responsible, ethical and compliant partner to our clients.
The best of both worlds
Uniquely, the business blends state of the art dialler call centre technology with highly regulated legal acitivities, providing true volume collections services with the technical capability to act proficiently on defended and complex claims through our legal centre of excellence in Bradford.
